Cinema's basically raised me growing up. I'm a journalism major looking to go into film journalism. Any film with a sad white male in space is totally up my alley, especially if it's Brad Pitt. Carrying on, I'm a massive Brad Pitt fan, but an even bigger Christopher Nolan fan - yes, I love Interstellar and seeing it on 15/70mm IMAX is one of my life's biggest accomplishments. I like my mix of old & new - at times I feel like it's time for The Apartment and Goodfellas but sometimes I'd rather put on The Departed and The Tree of Life. Cinema is a canvas upon which we can reflect upon ourselves and I think that's what's so beautiful about filmmaking - it's a medium that transcends the physical and moves life around all of us. I love cinema.

I am a 17-year-old student from the UK. I love films of all genres and eras, though I have a soft spot for British dark comedies and Wong Kar-Wai. I think that diversity in the filmmaking industry is an incredibly important issue, and therefore am open to viewing almost anything, and intend to diversify my taste as much as possible.

Being born and raised in Los Angeles, I've always been around the film industry and the people that are apart of it, so you can say my love for cinema has always been there. In terms of my preferred genres, I can never go wrong with an action thriller or a heartwarming character study. But I love all types of movies, and I'm always looking to expand my film preferences... except for horror films and romantic comedies - those suck.
